I have been running tests today, flying the Extra 300S, I have come to the conclusion, that with really good or BAD weather set, and multiple cloud layers, that the new atmospherics is WAY WAY better FPS! Maybe it is all pushed to the GPU now? It really does seem so, as I am running 2080ti and its handling it superbly. If I turn off advanced atmospherics in bad weather, I actually DROP 10-15 FPS! It goes back to the CPU? 2.) I was reading at the LM forum and stumbled across the P3DV5 min specs, and noticed they actually recommend windows 10 build 1909. I was running an older 1903 build. Could all be placebo affect, but since updating it, and running the latest NVIDIA drivers, it all just got smoother again! P.s Flying the Extra300S with high speed turns and actually flying through your own contrail is spectacular! Butter smooth too. Edited April 18, 20206 yr by Ianrivaldosmith
