Map Scrolling Causing Unwanted Scale Change

Featured Replies

Hi - I've noticed that if I am dragging the map around with the mouse, and my cursor moves over the range bar it activates the range change at the point where it crosses.  This is very difficult and happens more frequently when the map is quite narrow with all the other windows on display as well.  Is there a setting that I can change to stop this behavior?  Thanks!

Ah - OK.  A 'plug-in' eh?  I can just use my mouse wheel to zoom in and out and hide the bar like you said.

Fantastic tool - now that I've spent a bunch of time with it I've gotten over my panic at the first look and actually using it now.  Very powerful.  Thanks.

I like the idea of just having it hidden upon initial first startup.  Then if you want it just  place it on the map the normal way.  That way those who like the zoom feature will still have it.  Once it's gone, it's gone. I do use it on occasion.

Probably the best solution. Hide it for new users and also hide or replace the inaccurate scale.
