April 25, 20206 yr Hey Simmers. So Ive been RA customer since FSX. I have RAB60 B60T and LancairV2 Now I have a P3Dv5 installed (fresh install) and I cant install any of RealAir products. I had P3Dv4.5 before and I uninstalled +I uninstalled all addons. So I know that installator are for FSX P3D3 P3D4 etc. but somehow after starting it do not allow me to install airplanes to P3Dv4 to transfer later to P3Dv5 Here is proof:-options are grey out. I tried to re-download installers from RA website but same issue. I do not have FSX installed at all(any version)
April 25, 20206 yr You are suffering from that well-known malady, Premature Uninstallation. Don't worry, it happens to lots of guys. 😉 The installer appears to be looking for the sim's path setting in the registry. The easiest way to get that back is to reinstall P3Dv4 temporarily so you'll have the complete P3D directory structure to install into. You can also manually add the registry key to the registry, and that might work so long as the installer doesn't look for the Prepar3d.exe file or for specific subfolders in the sim. Prepar3Dv4: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 - key name is "SetupPath" HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 - key name is "SetupPath" HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 - key name is "AppPath"
