Opinions on LatinVFR Miami v5

Featured Replies

Being that the LVFR airports are all on sale at the moment, one of the few of theirs I don't have is KMIA v5. I have one of the older versions, I think v3. From what I have read this appears to be a great piece of work. Just curious of what you all think. At $20 USD it looks pretty darn good.

Cheers, Pete

It is great. Just be aware that it is a big VRAM hog so you need to be "prepar3d" to make some some settings compromises.  It is the biggest consumer of anything that I have installed, in v4.5 and v5.

Purely FYI, I run it on top of Drzewiecki Design's Miami X, which is now free.

I put some screenies in this thread of how DD extends the scenery past what LVFR covers and you keep all the great LVFR city and airport area coverage.  It is a pretty good deal at $20.
