2 X-Plane computers (master/slave) working with GNS 530?

Featured Replies

Is it possible, or any suggestions on how to run Air Manager with RealityXP Garmin Sims on a second PC and then feed that video to 2 virtual monitors.  That will leave my big machine to run the 3 4k TVs.

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance!

- Robert

Hi,

The GNS is a plugin running in-sim.

You can detach and pop out the windows, but it is running from the same computer running the simulator.

Thanks.  I thought so.  I have a second license for XPlane to run on the second PC.  Would a slaved copy of XPlane provide the data to the app?

I'm not certain it would work but I honestly don't know.

Is it 'slaved' with X-Plane own internal solution or using a 3rd party tool?

I'll change the discussion title to reflect your question in the hope others join-in and comment.

yes.  Primary PC is for 'Fwd with scenery only' and the external networked view just to pump data to a second machine that I will run Air manager on with Reality-XP apps.

Does that make sense?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Robert,

Did you end up getting this to work? I have the RXP GNS530 installed on my slave x-plane 11 computer (which runs my panels) and it displays the RXP GNS530 fine however whenever I attempt to set the radio frequencies it will not update the master computer.  If I run the x-plane GNS530 instead of the RXP GNS530 on the slave the frequencies are updated on the master fine.

If you ended up getting it working I'd love to hear from you.

Cheers.
