Start RC is grayed out

I cant understand why the Start RC button is grayed out. I have done all the required steps, but still grayed out. Any suggestions why..

Is P3D / FSX running?

Have you loaded a flight plan?

Is RC4 running on the same PC or via WideFS?

It probably best to tell/describe what steps you took - this would avoid a sort of "telephone tag" conversation.

I usually suggest flying the first tutorial flight EXACTLY as written, if one is new to RC.
