GTN750 crashes X-Plane 10 (resolved)

Featured Replies

Hello from Spain,

first of all hi to everybody as I am new to this forum. After a few years of absence from flight simming, I have reinstalled and updated XP10 on my computer and I have just purchased and installed the GTN750. Unfortunately, it crashes XP10 so I haven't been able to play with it at all. It will fire up OK, but after the second or third click XP will invariably crash which of course is very annoying. I don't have a high-end system (2.80 GHz with Windows7 64-bit and 8 GB RAM) but until now it has been good enough to fly my Carenado planes through SkyMaxx-enhanced clouds 🙂

Are there any known problems with other plugins such as SASL or Gizmo (I have both installed) or FS Widgets software? Or do I need a new computer? Any help would be appreciated.

Sunny greetings,

Hi,

Can you please post the content of the RXP log files? (see RXP manuals for file/path)

Hi,

the problem appears to have been caused by FS Widgets AirView and/or EFBXP 1.4 (I have uninstalled both). Now the GTN750 seems to work fine. Many thanks for your fast reply.
