How to optimize my VR experience with P3DV4

Featured Replies

Hi guys, is there anyone Having very Good knowledge on VR settings for P3DV4 ? I need some help to use my setup properly in VR with Oculus Tray Tool.

Setup: RTX 2080 Ti 11Gb/I7 9700K/ 32GB Ram at 3000mhz/ Oculus Rift

How can I use my GPU and CPU with the optimal capacity And how can I make the blurry sight disappear in order to have a clear sight in the headset. I can barely read the displays and so on.. need some help for a while now hope someone is a master in the thing.

thanks guys

You'd be better off asking this in the P3D forum section or in the hardware sections of the forums. This area is to talk about VR functionality in the new Flight Simulator. This area isn't for troubleshooting other sims.

Microsoft Flight Simulator | Ryzen 9 5900X | MSI MEG X570 ACE | 32 GB DDR4 | Geforce RTX 3080 | Samsung Evo 970 M.2 | Dual 1440p screen | Win 10 Pro

Honeycomb Alpha Flight Yoke | Honeycomb Bravo Throttle | Thrust master TPR Rudder Pedals | HP Reverb G2

For the Oculus Quest:     The only thing that cleared up things enough to make it 'ok' (still foggy) was to purchase a shielded USB3-C to USB3-A clearly identified as delivering up to 5 GB data / sec ... more expensive and usually short but I sit anyway. If it dont say the bandwidth its cause its low. (480 MB/s). Just saying it is high bandwidth is smoke

For the Rift I would expect a  better video  cable to deliver better results.

AND, slide the resolution of terrain textures to 30 cm
