VR view with truesky clouds uppon horizon strange view

Featured Replies

First: also posted this on LM Support.

Anyone else seeing this? IN VR it is clearly visible (at least to me)

Setup to see the two issues:
VR only seen in the HMD not on the normal screen
Best seen on flat landscape
Example works good at higher Flightlevel like 350
Enhanced Atmo on
Cloud layer 10.000 - 13.000 (just as an working example to show the issue) 2/8 few clouds view must be unlimited
Best seen at Dawn and Dusk when the sun hangs low. Below the cloud layer the scattering light can be seen. Also the horizon or "end" of the earth is visible.

1.Issue
It looks like in VR via the HDM the "view/drawing" isn´t right. The clouds look like a flat layer wich rises up to the horizon. Good visible if you pan around in the outside view near the plane or look forward in the inside view in the cockpit. This behaviour is not as clear on your screen! Just in VR it is clear visible and very strange looking. The whole "depth" seems strange with this kind of view.

I would like to say that it just looks like the cloud base rises up the further you look ahead. The space between the earth and cloudbase seems to "become" bigger with growing distance. Normally the space should "become" smaller (at least it sould look like that from an optival point of view) but in the sim it (looks as if) becomes bigger. So the "behaviour" of the cloud layer compared to the earth horizon seems strange.

2.Issue
Also the earth is light rounded and the cloud layer is "flat and not formed with the earth.

Please take a look at it and a feedback would be nice how to proceed.
