Good day! Tried to install FSX today but got error 1935 message saying: an error occured during the installation os assembly 'Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect' Does anyone know what to do?

Hi,Not sure this is any help, but if FSX continues to install normally and you're only missing the simconnect client installation, you can manually install it if you have the deluxe version. It's on CD1 in SDK folder... install the SDK then in the installed location subfolder: SDKCore UtilitiesSimConnect SDKlib run the file called SimConnect.msi.Best,

Thanks! Will try to install simconnect manually, but the thing is that when the error message come up installation halts and the process starts to go backwards. ie setup removes all files it's installed so far. tried various ways to try and prevent it from removing the files so I could just add the missing component manually, but had no success.
