Keyboard Shortcuts (resolved)

Featured Replies

I'm experimenting with defining keyboard shortcuts in the RealityXP.GTN cfg file, and having little success.

My GTN750 is Unit 1, and the GTN650 is Unit 2 (in the Vehicle --> Instrument Panel menu). However, in the cfg file the GTN650 responds to Window 1 and the GTN750 Window 2? I can only get the GTN650 to use two shortcuts: 'Home'  - which I have set up as 'CTRL+HOME', and 'Toggle_Window_1', which I have set up as the default 'ALT+SHIFT+1'.

No other assignments work, and nothing works for the GTN750. What am I doing incorrectly, this time 😉

Hi,

I've just checked and CTRL+NUMPAD5 and CTRL+NUMPAD6  are working as expected. However SHIFT+NUMPAD5 and SHIFT+NUMPAD6 are already assigned to moving the yoke (which you can easily see in a 3D cockpit animating the yoke).

Just make sure you're not using keyboard shortcuts which are already assigned to other functions in the simulator.

I believe I have deleted those assignments which were set to do something in sim. For some reason I can't get anything to work with the GTN750, even when I assign it something that works on the GTN650.

So this morning I restored the cfg file per the addon menu and then added only the GTN750. Keyboard shortcuts were working. As soon as I add the GTN650 those commands then work the #2 unit and no new assignments will work for the GTN750 - not even the ones that previously worked (after I delete them from the #2 unit). I've attached my panel.cfg file and shortcut file if that is helpful? I understand that I may have to work through some conflicts with P3D key assignments but my issue is I don't have any control of the GTN 750 (Unit 2).

I have control of both now. I should have caught that; I did a restore so perhaps the backed up panel contained errors.

Thanks, Jean-Luc,
