October 18, 200619 yr I just tallied up the current expenses. (USD)* FSX Deluxe - $69.95* One gig of memory - $150.00* FSX FSUIPC and WideFS7 for FSX- $51.00* FSX MYtraffic - $42.60Total around $310 USDResult:With most known tricks/edits and texture replacements sitting at KMDT with GA traffic at 100%. - http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158996.jpgPriceless. LOL.The largest annoyance for me is the realization of the potential of this amazing simulator and not being able to use it at half its potential. Interesting marketing strategy. This is not rant, I'm not upset, and I'll continue enjoy both FS9 and FSX. Just a rhetorical observation. :)Bob.... Bob Prince
October 19, 200619 yr I see you actually bought the FSUIPC4 instead of just using the free version. Any good reason for this? or is it that you *need* the WideFS7 ?allen
October 19, 200619 yr Hi Allen,Yes, I use a client PC that runs all sorts of goodies plus PFC equipment requiring FSUIPC. I do like the additional button programming features etc, but the price is high IMO. Bob.. Bob Prince
October 19, 200619 yr Yep. You're the norm as far as I can see. P4 3.6 GHz HT (for hyper-nothing) 1 gig ddr ram, ATI X800XT 256 mb PCIe (for expressly nothing).
