October 18, 200619 yr Hi all, still have the 2nd demo, and copied my Kittyhawk 737-200 into FSX, however in FS9 I have about 60 paints for the 737, and in FSX I only have the Southwest colors and cant choose other textures. Plus the aircraft has NO nav, wingtip stobe, and beacon lights that work. Seems the only lights that work at the landing lights. Any insite to this? I have the 737 pointing to the default CRJ panel for the moment. Thanks all,Bill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
October 18, 200619 yr Hey, Bill.Starting to slowly drag my Frontier Airbus fleet over tonight. I tried a couple in the beta and they worked...with some "horsing", but tonight's the night for earnest efforts.I'll stay on this thread as it goes along.BTW..the guy who made the United replacement (add on) texture for the default A321 mentions something about going into "airlines.cfg" in the root folder and adding the name, too. Maybe something to that as well.BuckKJAX
October 18, 200619 yr Thanks Buck, keep use posted.Bill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
October 19, 200619 yr Ok....hmmm...there is some fine tuning needed but to do this..for now, I cheated.http://www.aclsal.org/abdfiles/FSX-Frontier.jpgI used the default A321 for the panel as well as some of the "aircraft.cfg" statements. Also, the FX to get the lights working. Interestingly, my textures are better from FS9 than the new version textures in FSX (check the gosh awful default stuff in the background...what are they thinking with this c**p?).Anyway, went to the root folder and inserted (in "Airlines.cfg") Frontier. I'm still not sure what that did. I also added this line from the A321:ui_typerole="Commercial Airliner"Anyway, she flies...nicely. I'm sure there's more to come.BuckKJAX
