Tdragger Did You Get The Email I Sent Yesterday

Featured Replies

Tdragger,Just wanted to check to see if you got my email regarding the "24 Bit Color Quality Error From Official Release Version of FS X."This problem started with the second FS X demo. I had no problem with the first FS X demo. Now after installing the Official Release Version of FS X I continue to get the same error. I have uninstalled both of the demo's before installing the Official release version. Also, my video drivers are currentI have the Deluxe Version. The installation and registeration went fine. But as before in the demo when I started FS X this message came up before any loading began. This is the full message."Flight Simulator has detected one or more of your monitors is using 24 bit color quality. Flight Simulator is incompatible with this display mode.""Would you like to change your disply settings?"I can't get past this message to load FS X.I've checked and I am using 32 bit color on both monitors. I did not have this problem with the first Demo.As I said in my email I can attach both the DXdiag file and the fsx configuration file if you send me an email address where I can send an attachment. As you will see the configuration file is empty. Probably because after installation and registeration FS X never loaded. Thanks in advance for your help.Bill

Thanks for the information Tom.In one of the other treads which mentioned this problem he had asked the person having the problem to send him a copy of there DXdiag file so I thought he was accepting emails.Didn't mean any harm. Just frustrated that I can't seem to get anyone to look into this problem. I purchased a product I can't use and can't seem to get any help.Just venting.Regards.Bill

The TellFS is a general reporting link. They are taking the info and analyzing it, so it is important to send your info, including your fsx config file there, but it is not a support address. You need to contact support directly. Check in the Learning Center of the documentation for how to contact them.Tony
