G1000 SVS TERR ERR (again and again and again...)

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

The title says it all. Can't get this thing to work....

So i have purchased SR22 from Carendo PLUS a separate licence for SVS. I'm running P3D v4.5 (4.5.13.32097) on Windows 10. Usual addons (Orbx, ASP3D4).

I keep getting a TERR ERR message on my PFD.

What I have tried so far :

- uninstall/reinstall the SVS piece (with admin rights)

- manual launch of the whole stuff (with start.bat)

- tip suggested here - never found the log file though (https://carenado.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003010854-C172SP-SVS-TER-ERR)

- fix suggested here - but it apperead that these are the exact same files that came with the SVS installer (https://carenado.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019249953-Syntethic-Vision-System-TERR-ERR-SVS)

- all the tips suggested by @Eduard (thanks to him)

- the deletion of files in P3D4 Files in Documents folder

- removal of dual entries in dll.xml (in the two files that exist)

What I see when I start a flight with my SR22 :

- a black window briefly open then close (for half of a second)

- an icon appears in the notification area (that disappears when I select another plane)

- a websimbrowser folder is created in my temp folder

- when I type http://localhost:4444/WebSimSVS/sv.htm in Firefox, it does load the sv.html page located under gauges\Carenado_WebSimConnect\data\WebSimSVS

What could I try next ?

Will Carenado ever care about their loyal customers who paid 35 euros for this piece of word not allowed ?

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you all
