AS injection and wrong ATIS

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

On P3d V5 HF1, I noticed an inconsistency between the weather injected by AS beta 3 and the local default ATIS of the airport. Winds are differents and the problem is the AI respect the winds annonced by the ATIS for the active runway. I'm clear though that the actual weather in the sim is indeed the one annonced my AS. I hope I'm clear. Where does the ATIS and AI read their weather if it's not the one injected ?

Does anyone have noticed the same behaviour ?

Thanks

Souheil Al-Mallah

Hi Souheli,

I too am having this same issue with the active ATIS either my origin or destination airport not matching the current weather conditions injected by ASP3D (I am also using the latest beta).  During some flights I've had the airport ATIS update and closely match the conditions being injected by ASP3D, but it's not always the case.  I'm trying to do some digging into to this as to whether there might be a workaround, but I fear it might be something LM has to sort on their end.  For now I've just been turning off the AI until after I depart, not ideal but hopefully this gets looked at in the near future.

Thanks,

Josh
