RXP GTN750 ecommerce coupon for X-Plane (resolved)

Featured Replies

E-commerce coupon downloads from RXP website and saves to my computer. Click on the file to unpack and purchase, creates a brief message that does not remain on the screen long enough to read. Then the downloaded coupon disappears from the folder in which it was saved. Even tried F1 software directly, but find no reference on the website for the X-Plane GTN750 being available. How can this add-on be acquired?

Hi,

Just unzip the downloaded coupon .zip file, don't double click it.

Instead, in the e-commerce installer, choose 'use coupon' and then browse to where you've unpacked it.

Jean-Luc;

Thank you for your reply. The e-commerce installer never completes its run.

I download the e-commerce installer from the RXP website and save it to my hard drive.

I run the unzipped rxpGTN-750-XPL.exe file.

It presents a short glimpse of a Flight 1 banner, then disappears from the screen, and the .exe file disappears from the stored file on my hard drive.

I never reach the purchase screen, or an opportunity to "use coupon", or the opportunity to define where to install the file. Please advise. I appreciate your help!

This is indicative of a problem where the anti-virus is putting the RXP file in quarantine.

You might want to add exclusions for any rap file.

Thank you Jean-Luc. That worked. Added both 650 & 750 download files to anti-virus exceptions and they installed smoothly. Look forward to taking my Citation II for a spin this evening with new avionics.
