AS16 FSX No Stars up to 82000ft on a clear upper sky

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just did a historic flight on the 30.11.19, 01:14 UTC (bad snow storms all over the US) and the whole flight from KABQ to KHLN I could not see any stars at FL380. Now, after landing at KHLN i did some tests by slewing up and figured, that the stars suddenly showed up above 82000ft.

Is that realistic?

And what weather option in AS16 is causing this?  I tried to change the upper visibility options, no change....

Oh, of course if i shut down AS16, stars are back straight away.

I am running FSX, REX4 with soft clouds, DX10 fixer, FSUIPC, changed stars.dat with Autostar once and AS16

Would be nice to know if anybody can duplicate the problem.

Many thanks
