GTN 750 problem with SAR function (resolved)

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a problem with the SAR function in my GTN. Well, I can not find this feature in version 750. In a poorer version ie 725 everything works fine. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Hi,

This suggests there is a problem with the non-volatile memory of the GTN 750.

You might want to read the RXP GTN User's Manual "Embedded Memory" chapter first. My suggestion then is to rename the GTN 750 #1 non volatile memory file (this will make a backup), start the simulator again and let the GTN building a brand new one, then check whether SAR is back.

You'll loose all your user waypoints, catalog routes and settings, but this will help finding the root cause and you can always rename the backup back to its original name to restore things as they were.
