June 8, 20205 yr I purchased the Reality XP GNS and GTS series of Garmin Navigators on May 24, and followed the installation instructions. The plug in menu in X-plane 11 appears to be working correctly, but for both sets of products I get the message "Reality SP - Invalid License: Software license is invalid. Please stop using this product and contact your vendor", when I enable any of the Reality XP products. The message shows up in the start up screens and then again in the Messages screens. After about 5 minutes the Garmin simulators in X-Plane stop working. I have tried this with both the X-plane standard (Laminar Research) C-172, and the Alabeo C-177 RG. I also have copied my RXP-GTN750/6550-X9.lic and my 'my_name'-rexprxp=gtn750/650-x9.key files (and ditto for the GNS products) from the C:\Reality XP Downloads folder to which they were initially downloaded to the following folders under the assumption that perhaps they weren't where the software would be looking to validate my licenses: C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\GNS Simulation; C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\GTN Simulation; and C:\Users\David\Desktop\X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins\rxpGNS and rxpGTN I have checked my Norton 360 firewall settings and can find no quarantined files. Both Garmin simulators (GNS and GTN) work just fine in native Windows 10 mode. Any advice on what I need to do to get this fixed?
June 29, 20205 yr I have just bought the GTN 750 and have exactly the same issue with the Aerobask Lancair - "Reality XP software expired or invalid" and "invalid licence contact vendor." The GTN 750 also installs as a pop up and I would like to know how I resize it to fit in correctly in the aircraft's instrument panel.
June 30, 20205 yr Hi mate, Try putting the 'RealityXP' folder right into the 'C' Drive root folder. and not in Program files or anything like that.
