P3D VR cannot be enabled while a View Group is Active

Featured Replies

Help please

I am grey haired p3dv5 user and I don't know what I did but I had the following error appeard I cannot rectify it to use VR. The error appearing on clicking on the Virtual Reality tab is
'''Virtual Reality cannot be enabled while a View Group is Active. Please change active View Group to none''
I have followed several items but cannot rectify even doing a totally clean install of P3DV5 but still I get this error. I cannot find out how to change to View Group to none.
Is there a simple way of rectifying this error so I can use P3DV5 in Virtual Reality. VERY easy steps please.
When I first loaded P3dv5 on the very first installation this error did not occur but on a clean reinstall it still appears.

Many thanks for your help.

I am not at my computer but I believe if you right click on the screen when P3D is running and select View Groups I believe then check the None box. If the box is checked uncheck it and check it again. This worked for a friend of mine with the same strange issue.  I hope my memory is serving me correctly regarding the item in the drop down when you right click the screen.

Good luck
