June 16, 20205 yr I tested this P3Dv5 tweak with skepticism, but it actually does retrieve about 100MB of VRAM for those who are living on the hairy edge! Not huge, but maybe it will help someone before HF2...I'm running P3Dv5 HF1 under win10 2004. Save this code below as a batch file (VRAM.bat works nicely), then right click it and "run as administrator", preferably upon a fresh restart and before launching P3D. YMMV. taskkill /im ApplicationFrameHost.exe /f taskkill /im ShellExperienceHost.exe /f taskkill /IM dwm.exe /F Before running batch file: After running batch file: [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
