July 3, 20205 yr I was about to take a flight to SEQM in the Pmdg NGXu and when I enter SEQM into the FMC I get an error that the airport is not found. How is it that an Airport that has been open for 8 years is not in the FMC for an aircraft that has been around for a year? Anyway, is there a free way to update this? I am not about to pay to subscribe to a service to do this. Any help would be appreciated. I actually just flew from SKBG to SEQM, and I punched in the old SEQU and diverted to SEQM. Mine is JUL28/AUG24/11, so does that mean 2011? Also, maybe instead of cutting my nose off to spite my face, I should buy a NavDataPro subscription, which is only $20 per year. If all I want is the updated Airports in my FMC, will this do the job? Navigraph is $10 more but I wont need the extra bells and whistles. Thanks for your help! You right, 2011. 8 minutes ago, PilotPete99 said: all I want is the updated Airports in my FMC, will this do the job? Apparently, path to the navdata for PMDG is wrong. It should simply read "<P3D path>\PMDG" not "<P3D path>\PMDG\Navdata" .

July 3, 20205 yr Author Got it, so this is good software and I would need to buy this in order to update the FMC, is that right? I apologize for my ignorance. Cheers, Pete Pete Solov - Lake in the Hills 3CK and Schaumburg Regional 06CProud AOPA Member - PPL 2001Real World Piper Cherokee Pilot

NavDataPro is an update service for navigational data for several Flight Simulator add-ons using an FMC or GPS data for their flights. The Nav Data itself is supplied by Lufthansa Systems and is used in real world aviation by more than 180 airlines throughout the world. 9 minutes ago, PilotPete99 said: I apologize for my ignorance.
