October 22, 200619 yr Hello,Yesterday I posted that I would wait for the developers to catch up to FSX. Well, I got fidgety and tried two movements on my own (I'm not real good at this).I tried my PMDG 1900C and my Carenado 182Q. They both work great in FSX.What I did was install each, one at a time to a temp directory like TEMP1. I then moved each component to the FSX directory in their appropriate place.I did not try livery changes or messing with the A/C config files but I was suprised at the performance in FSX. I am running a fairly fast system (AMD64 3500+, 1 gig of RAM and 2 Nvidia 6800 display adp in SLI) I am using the FSX default setups for scenery and my only addons are the new FSUIPC/WIDEFS, all Genesis FSX mesh (downloaded for 2 days)and one addon from Eaglesoft (Liberty for FSX). My fps are set at 20 and the current performance is at 19.2. I don't have a clue what will happen if I increase my Autogen.Anyway, just thought I would post my trial info for those who may want to give their FS9 addons a try. I would suggest that you stick to those that appear to be simple addons for FS9 - I don't think the PMDG 747 will work in FSX.Cheers,Ron SagelNEAR KCHS
