July 21, 20205 yr I have just finished installing and setting up my P3Dv5. To me, far more superior than v4.5, both Aesthetically & Performance wise. Anyway, while checking things out I've noticed that all the Default airports have what looks to be (not sure how to explain it) "glossy" or "shiny aprons, taxiways and runways. The clouds appear to be reflecting on these "glossy" surfaces. Back in the FSX days that type of texture was used to depict wet surfaces. But in P3Dv5 I had asP3D & Asca running with sunny clear weather. Maybe it's just my setup, I'm not sure. Maybe LM has a reason for this? I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Note: a good example is Default KSTL.
