Before I begin, let me start by acknowledging that laptops are and always will be inferior to desktops, worse value, and next to impossible to upgrade. 😶

For my circumstances however, a laptop is the only option really as I plan on moving around a bit in the next couple years and lugging around a desktop setup to other continents isn't an option. 🧳 That's why I am not investing any money in my current desktop setup in anticipation of FS2020 and am instead researching what laptop to purchase.

I wouldn't say I have a tight budget, I'm definitely looking for an RTX 2080 graphics card, but I also am not willing to part with €4000+ for a Razer Blade Pro 17.

The best value I have come across is the HP Omen 17.3", here are the specs:

Intel® Core™ i7-10750H Processor
RAM: 16 GB / Storage: 1 TB HDD & 512 GB SSD
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8 GB
Full HD screen / 144 Hz

The total cost is €2399, which I think seems too good to be true! I'm happy it's also not a "Max-Q" version of the 2080 card! My only worry about this rig is the 16GB or RAM. Would it be enough? I know it's not released yet, but do you think it would be enough for FS2020?

I've priced similar build via custom building laptop websites and they come out significantly more expensive with similar specs.

So, any laptop experts out there who have any advice? Any tips or suggestions are much appreciated! 🙏🏼
