Hi guysI am fortunate in that I have had no issues with FSX apart from an initial inability to install it!We all have our secret dreams of places or things we would like to see.....mine has been the statue of 'Christ the Redeemer' in Rio De Janeiro. I'm not particularly religious but the location has always seemed breathtaking.Today whilst taking the 'Breakfast Flight over Rio' as described in the Insider Information booklet,I saw the statue and the whole experience was just as spectacular as if I had been there in person having resigned myself, at my age, to probably not making it for real. For this experience alone, I consider my

I am with you, I like what I see so far! Now for those that are complaining so much I am currently running FSX on my old FS9 rig, AMD XP2400, 1 gig ram, FX5900XT and it runs fairly well. Yes, I have had to dial some things down but it is still great, much better than FS9. I think that many of you that are complaining are trying to run it with sliders too far right. Yes, I would like to have all of the sliders right also but let's face reality this sim is made so you can adjust the sliders to fit your machine. In some cases there may be problems with your system, video drivers that don't perform well, other drivers that muck up the works, certain settings you have on your computer, other programs or spyware that slow things down, the same issues that we had with every other version. Yes there are a few bugs and maybe some of the textures aren't quite right but I feel that MS will fix some of these problems for us. Over all this sim is worth the money if you can avoid trying to push every slider as far to the right as you can. I will enjoy this sim on my old FS9 rig for awhile before I build my FSX rig, probably about the time that PMDG has their products ready for FSX is when I will switch over. I can not believe all of the negative garbage we have to hear every time a new version is released, mostly from people who think they need to have all of the sliders to the far right. Adjust your sliders to the left a bit and you can enjoy this sim tremendously, as I have. As you tweak your system over the coming months and years and update your system with new parts or get a new system you will have an all new sim as you can move things to the right. MS I love your new sim, thank you so much for your work!Philip Olsonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg
