October 23, 200619 yr What message? Check your setting for 'show window titles' or whatever it's called. I don't have any messages in my VC.

October 24, 200619 yr owen, right hand, ok? the one on the left is left, the one on the right is right. and i'm talking about the top right cornerthanks anyway:-)
October 24, 200619 yr There was a line you could place in the FS9.cfg file to take the brake message away, but it's different than view messages. Could be something in the cfg could trigger it, could be hard coded, I don't know. I'm sure someone will find out though, because it does get annoying at times.I wouldn't mind just making it dissapear a little faster.-Jeremy Burchhttp://home.earthlink.net/~dawgfighter/sit...es/swvasig1.gifSWVA4806 http://www.virtualswa.com/home.phpThe Ozark Dogfighter http://forums.avsim.net/images/wedge.gifCurrent system:Pentium 4 Cedar Mill 641 (3.40GHz), Abit AW8D, Gigabyte GeForce 7900GTX (512MB DDR3 PCI-Express x16),Corsair XMS2 Pro 2GB PC2 6400 (DDR2 800), 2 SeaGate Barracuda 250GB hard drives, Sound Blaster X-Fi PlatinumKlipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1 speakers, NEC 20" CRT, Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2Please note: System specs are for reference in tech forums only and are not to be taken as meaning anything else.Doing so will result in eye-rolling, possible teeth grinding and perhaps mild internal chuckling.Happy Flying!
October 24, 200619 yr there are entries in the cfg to remove every other message, not this one :-loli tried to set the message colour to transparent, but it ignores the alpha parametersigh...
October 24, 200619 yr hehe nice try, I doubt I would have thought of that one.-Jeremy Burchhttp://home.earthlink.net/~dawgfighter/sit...es/swvasig1.gifSWVA4806 http://www.virtualswa.com/home.phpThe Ozark Dogfighter http://forums.avsim.net/images/wedge.gifCurrent system:Pentium 4 Cedar Mill 641 (3.40GHz), Abit AW8D, Gigabyte GeForce 7900GTX (512MB DDR3 PCI-Express x16),Corsair XMS2 Pro 2GB PC2 6400 (DDR2 800), 2 SeaGate Barracuda 250GB hard drives, Sound Blaster X-Fi PlatinumKlipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1 speakers, NEC 20" CRT, Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2Please note: System specs are for reference in tech forums only and are not to be taken as meaning anything else.Doing so will result in eye-rolling, possible teeth grinding and perhaps mild internal chuckling.Happy Flying!
October 24, 200619 yr >I wouldn't mind just making it dissapear a little faster.Same here: I zoom in and out often, so I do 'need' the info, but it stays on screen far too long. When you zoom a lot it sometimes seems it never ever disappears and it's quit irritating, to tell you the truth, to see those red letters in your beautiful panorama all the time... A shorter time would be very appreciated indeed!
October 24, 200619 yr >has anyone found a way to turn off the top-right corner>message?>>thaaaaanks>>:-)Hi V,I have this message only for about 2-3 sec and then it swithes off!It never stays.byeBert
October 24, 200619 yr how is that better? hmmm... i guess the person who came up with this idea has a post-it note on his desk saying, "this is a desk". and one on the wall in front of him saying, "this is a wall"... sigh...:-(
October 28, 200619 yr hi, berti'm sorry, i missed your reply in the flood of recent postings. i see you also sent me a PM. i found it almost accidentally as i never check that mailboxi have to admit i don't understand your irritation, however, i apologize if i caused hard feelingsand no, i am not american :-)cheersvilk
October 28, 200619 yr Still no solution...? Since I installed IntelliPoint 5.5 yesterday I can look around in the VC with only one hand on the mouse (set middle-mouseclick to shift-O) and now I zoom in and out even more han before. And hence the message in the top-right corner is getting even more irritating. It's almost there all the time, it seems...!Is there really now way to turn it off completely...?
