August 14, 20205 yr I know next to nothing about the SDK so forgive the lack of knowledge, but if I were to build a model of something and import it, using the SDK, would I then be able to test how that model works in the actual sim itself? Or am I relegated to only testing it in an SDK environment?
August 14, 20205 yr Usually you will test in the actual sim. You could have a test install which is the norm for developers and you should be legal if you don't run both copies at the same time IMO. Back up everything you want to modify. August 14, 20205 yr not sure how it works now, but in fsx the sdk did not have an "environment" it was just some command utils that compile files into a usable format that you install and test in the game itself
