August 16, 20205 yr Given that the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator is perhaps the most anticipated flight simming event in years, it's only natural that emotions are running high as we anticipate and then get our hands on Microsoft's first new sim release in nearly 14 years. We want the forums to function, as they always have, as a platform for discovery, critique (both good and not so good), mutual assistance and open dialogue regarding the new sim. With that in mind, I want to reiterate here that personal nastiness, name-calling, axe-grinding and ad hominem assaults on others are not in keeping with the mission of the forums. In particular, negative commentary directed at others, rather than at the issues under discussion, is generally dangerous territory. During this busy rollout, the AVSIM forums staff will not be predisposed towards tolerance of disruptive behavior and personal meanness. We really don't want to see anyone excluded from the conversation--so please help us avoid any unnecessary unhappiness when posting by taking a few extra seconds to reconsider both what you're saying and how you're saying it before clicking on the "submit" button.
