Brief, because I don't think there is any need for an extended version. FSX has put together in an optimal manner nearly all the major achievements of the simulation world in the last, say, 10 years.I wish Richard Harvey were here to witness that. There are a few bugs here and there, which the community will very probably iron out within the next few months. Let alone the other class of improvements brought about by the progress in vid-card technology.FSX is an excellent platform with enough potential to knowck our socks off at one time or another. On a 3.2,256,1, I run anywhere between 10 and 20, with autogen off and pretty much all the rest maxed, except a few useless or green eye-candies. Smooth, more than acceptable performance. What I would like to see happening (always feel a little bad when I say that, because I can't do it myself):- Find a way to add (fractal?) noise to the steep parts of the mesh to get rid of the underwater roundish or "camouflage" look of slopes- Find a way to increase the resolution of landclass and work on a more complete library of texture.-Work on flight models some more to allow for more realistic effects (thinking for example about counter-yaw when baking without rudder)- Some cloud improvements (particularly at the juncture with hard surfaces)

>I wish Richard Harvey were here to witness that.Wow, this is quite a statement. I am not saying I disagree (hard to tell if you don't have FSX yet) but I wonder what folks at the FLY! forum would say to it ;)>- Find a way to increase the resolution of landclass and work>on a more complete library of texture.>- Some cloud improvements (particularly at the juncture with>hard surfaces)I agree, these are areas that could definitely see improvements over time.Michael J.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gif
