Carenado C182

Featured Replies

Hi,

Has anyone here tried the Carenado C182?

I am curious to know  how it stacks up against the default offering in the GA class.

Have they managed to do a decent job with flight physics and the G1000?

I am afraid to spend so much on their products based on history. I have bought from them in the past but regretted it as while their products are unrivalled in looks (can only imagine how well they have done with this new sim engine), they have always  underwhelmed in just about about every other aspect of their simulations. So much so, I have sworn off everything they produced since the C210 for FSX.

I am hoping this new offering on a new sim engine, could tide me over till A2A releases something for this new Sim.

I am not bashing Carenado, I suspect that they just produce for a less discriminating user. (Folks more interested in the (gaming) side of flight simulation).

If you know their product from FSX/P3D, then you know how it will be in MSFS. At least these port-overs. I don't know, what the future has in store re Carenado.

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds
