Lagging game ?

Featured Replies

Hi i have a Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.00GHz 16 gb of ram ATI Radeon RX 580 Series and a samsung 60Hz/120Hz monitor - so my question is why am i not getting anything ove 60fps and why in setting does it only go up to 60fps - i have the game on low end and it just freezes and lags all the time - i have tried with v-sync on and off but nothing ?

And my internet is 40mbps

Thanks

I too have a 6700k at 4GHz with a 1070. I think our CPUs are our bottleneck. I hit 100% load on CPU pretty often and with multiplayer (all players) enabled I get 10-20 FPS consistently. I am running "High-end" settings at 1440p. My 1070 is mostly at 100% load when the CPU is not bottlenecking it and at those times the best I have seen are around 40 FPS. I tried this on another build in the house with a Ryzen 1700x and GTX 1080 and it ran much better CPU load did not go over 60%. I guess im going to be getting a Ryzen 4xxx and RTX 3xxx build in the coming months.

Your RX 580 is holding you back. Along with 16GB RAM.

32G RAM and a RTX 2070 or 2080 and performance will improve greatly.

I'm running an i7 3770K (not clocked) with an RTX 2070 OC Edition, 32GB DDR3 RAM 1600mhz. SSDs with sim set at 'Ultra' and CPU will hover 60-70 and GPU 89-97 with light over southern Ca, (Brackett field - Downtown LA) @1080P (Looks beautiful)

I agree the 580 is probably a pretty large bottleneck. I too have 32GB of RAM and my system is constantly using close to 17GB when running this game so definitely need more than 16GB. I tried ultra at 1080p and was only able to get the game to run at 30 FPS. 1440p and 1080p are usually an 8 frame delta. I also have the game installed on a 970 PRO NVME SSD.
