FS2020 corrupted my FSX install

Featured Replies

FS2020 appears to have corrupted my FSX install.  FS2020 is not working well on my system in fact other then once it has not worked at all.  I have decided to go back to FSX in the short term since its full of wonderful scenery and has just about every plane I would want to fly in it available.  When launching FSX it was no longer loading properly and wanted to crash a lot.  Finely when I got it loaded half the switches failed to work and had to be remapped.  This fortunately a lot easier process.  Also my Active Sky lost its licensing and had to be reentered.  When I finely did get it running it was not a minute later that it stopped working again.  Only thing I am thinking is somehow when FS2020 was installed it corrupted my FSX install?

All I want to do is just fly.  I really don't have the strength rebuilding my FSX and it took a long time to get to the point it was at.  Its so old and dated anyway.  Looks like I might be buying a newer computer sooner then 1st thought if I want to keep my addiction alive.  Might try and hold out for a patch but it will be difficult.  As far as I can tell I am the only person reporting an FS2020 install messed something else up.  I suppose it just flat out broke my older computer.  Seems to be having other minor issues now as well.
