Swiss 2004 - problem installing in FSX

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,One of the aspects of FSX I really like is the entire scenery effect you get while flying in Switzerland. Simply beautiful and amazing. ALso, FSX gives you the chance to have ai car and pleasure boats which work extremely well in the Swiss scenery. Mountains are beautiful, mesh fantastic.Ok, so I also like Switzerland in FS9, but partly because of the excellent Suisse2004 group of scenery. I tried Suisse2004 in FSX by pointing to the FS9 scenery (in FSX.cfg) and adding all of the required addon texture files to FSX which the author said was needed. The scenery basically works well in fantastic FSX (with some minor problems), but I'm missing some tree textures which appear as white boards sticking up out of the ground. I had installed Garrish's trees (required) and wonder if they aren't being recognized for some reason by FSX.Has anyone else installed Suisse2004 or Garrish's trees in FSX with good results? Any ideas? Thanks for your help - have fun with FSX....

When you installed the Suisse2004 group of scenery, did you also try to install Switzerland Professional? If so, how did you do it? Although I can install Suisse2004 scenery, I cannot install Switzerland Professional. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
