Hi Mike:I haven't tested the new "TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN", "FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION", and "PoolSize" tweaks yet in FS9, so I can't say if they would work. There were freeware substitute "reduced object density" default.xml files (or one could simply rename default.xml) in FS9 as in FSX.TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT can be tried at 400 in both FS9 and FSX.There are autogen *.agn rather than *.spb files in FS9, and the texture format files are different between the FSX *.dds and FS9 *.BMP files, so those tweaks don't apply in quite the same way. However, the process of reducing texture bitmap size, color, and compression depth do apply when using proper methodology and tools in both FS9 and FSX.If you have an AGP video card, set it to a 32 PCI latency unless your drivers have a problem and need 64 instead (some have successfully set it to 0).There's lots more that can be done for one's system to improve performance which is described in the AVSIM, SimFlight and MegaScenery Forums.Happy Tweaking!:-) GaryGB
