Trouble installing

Can someone please tell me where to find this stupid Xbox identity provider app?  I can’t seem to find it anywhere.  I’ve downloaded every Xbox thing I can find on the Microsoft store and updated windows, video drivers, all windows store apps etc and I’m still stuck at the loading screen after checking for updates.

I am really starting to regret not buying this from steam

I’ve tried Malwarebytes and windows defender off. Alt-f4 and retried multiple times. Can’t seem to get it.
all the searches I’ve done seem to suggest we need a bunch of XBox and gaming services installed to get it to work. I’ve downloaded everything I can find from the marketplace.

any help or guidance greatly appreciated.

thanks, Jason

I’m starting to get a bad feeling I’m in the minority here having this issue and tracking it down is gonna be a nightmare. I even unplugged all peripherals with no luck.

Put it away till Thursday and go and enjoy your life. At the end of last week, zendesk did some sort of quick survey of key install/load issues. It was closed by the end of Friday. Based on their other announcement about announcing a patch this Thursday, I think any current user who is trying to get this thing working before then is wasting their time. I was in the beta test. There is a reason I've not bought this thing yet.

Thanks hypercide. I appreciate the insight. Ironic thing is I deleted the local app data and was final able to get to the content manager. It started to download and then of course froze. Since then I can’t get back to the content manager even though I’m repeating the same steps. Stuck at the frozen blue bar again.

maybe it is time to shelve it for a bit
