October 31, 200619 yr I have been using the demo for a few weeks now, and generally greatly enjoying it. I particularly like flying around the Caribbean, and have lots of add-on scenery for FS9 for the Caribbean. So I was thrilled when I saw the job that FSX had done on the island of Saint Martin (which includes Juliana and Grand Case). The coastlines, the mesh, the sandy beaches, the dense urban-ish areas all look great. So I was looking forward to getting FSX and trying out the rest of the Caribbean - and indeed the rest of the world. Then I read the following in another thread in this forum, posted by Manny, one of the most respected contributors to these forums:
October 31, 200619 yr This guy is right, the scenery is better there than anywhere else. Also it's one of the very few places that feature wildlife in free flight.

October 31, 200619 yr Special attention was paid to Princess Juliana, but it was only one of dozens of high-detail areas that got personal attention from the art and data teams.
October 31, 200619 yr I've been playing the demo for a while now-and I absolutely love the Juliana Airport scenery.
October 31, 200619 yr ???I've flown to numerous places that have definitely had as much attention paid as Juliana!I don't know where you've been flying!James
October 31, 200619 yr Thansk for all your comments.>Special attention was paid to Princess Juliana, but it was>only one of dozens of high-detail areas that got personal>attention from the art and data teams. That's a relief to hear. Presumably, talented add-on developers will be able to bring whole regions of the world up to the same (or evem higher) standard? I can't wait to see the potential of using the very high resolution textures.Martin
October 31, 200619 yr Hi Brian,Any chance you could list a few of those dozen or so areas that got special attention? I'd like to visit them and check-out the extra goodies that the art and data teams added. Thanks!JerryG
