Cessna Citation, can't read airspeed/altitude

Recommended Posts

This is something I experience with most of the glass cockpits but most so with the Cessna Citation.

Now I don't know if my eyesight or screen are bad, but I find it very difficult to read the airspeed and altitude, the numbers are very small on the regular piloting view; I can zoom in to see the instruments better but then I hardly see outside.

Anyone else who has the same experience?

Yes. I find The TBM PFD is impossible to read without 20.20 vision as the text (and indeed the moving strips) are so small you need to zoom right in.

I use the right alt key to create the pop-up of the glass display when I need to see the fine print.   Works for all of the glass displays.  You can then move it to a second monitor if you want to.

I didn't know that I'll have to try it out! I often did that in FSX (it popped out the PFD as a window when you clicked on it in some of the planes)
