Graphics Profiles For Any Plane?

Featured Replies

For those of us that have less than perfect PC's or for anyone, is there a way to save a graphics profile for different scenes?

Example, i may find the perfect set up for the 152 over built up areas but that would be totally different to the Airbus in my case

Is there a way to do it or just make notes?

Cheers

Kinda of wondering this myself.  In FSX you could save your settings to a file and I had a number of them with different scenery/autogen levels and LOD radius and locked vs unlocked FPS depending on if I was in a GA or PMDG type airliner and over the middle of nowhere or flying into something like KSFO in Orbx's NA region addon.  All you had to do was go to the settings and load the settings file.

I suspect at least with the Steam version (since nothing is locked down/encrypted like the Xbox version) you could get to any of the relevant settings files and copy them out as you create them with the appropriate settings then move them into the folder before you start the sim.  That would be a very hacky way to do it though.
