"Live" multiplayer

Featured Replies

So I saw that Live Multiplayer forces you to the current time/weather, but I also noticed it leaves "Live Traffic" enabled (tried multiplayer for the first time last night).  So does this mean the sim is mixing actual players with actual live air traffic?  I saw some stuff that of course was obviously other players, but some I wasn't sure if it was player naming their username/planes specifically for stuff like Vatsim  or just more "realistic" naming for flying, or if it was a live traffic flight.

Yeah, they can both exist together.

Oh nice.  I've been really enjoying the live traffic.  It gives me much better performance than the AI traffic even knocking that down to like 15 with MUCH better density.  So now I'll probably add in the multiplayer thing as well just to get an even more alive world.  Probably only while doing lower impact aircraft though.  Although taxiing around EGLL last night with some pretty active weather and live traffic/multiplayer in the A320 seemed really smooth mostly so I might just need to avoid it with the 747 and 787.
