My sim is P3dv4.5 ....and just recently have I encountered this strange behaviour.

Doesn't matter what plane I'm flying,when I reach the altitude I need,I turn on the A/P....but when releasing the ALT.button in order to descend

the aircraft suddenly flares up and climbs into a stall.

Is there some procedure I'm missing.

I've searched in vain to find an answer !!
