September 15, 20205 yr Hi all - is there a way to limit the torque to 100%? I tried pressing the TO/GA button on the throttle but it doesn’t seem to work. I think once I might have managed to do it but I don’t know how. Thanks
September 15, 20205 yr In the TBM, the TO/GA button does not activate the throttle (the aircraft has no autothrottle functionnality). When activated, the TOGA button allows you to follow the Flight Director when you push the throttle full forward in case of a missed approach (eventually for take-off). For the same reason, you have to manage manually the throttle to maintain the torque below 100% (and even less on climb above a certain altitude).
