November 6, 200619 yr Author FSX has been out less than a month. There is a group working on designing a scenery tool which will give us the capability we had in FS2004 with AFCAD, and more.http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/In the interim, you can create a new airport with FS2004 AFCAD - and create exclusion files to remove the autogen and other buildings. I don't think people can create flattens yet - but you can use aprons under the runway to flatten it. Taxiways and aprons create flattens in FS2004 and FSX.Or you can use SceneGenX to create an airport. Then use those airport files in FSX.However, do not use FS2004 AFCAD files to modify FSX airports. Quite a few of the new elements in FSX and enhancements will be removed if FS2004 AFCAD files are used.
