September 24, 20205 yr Hi Having installed FS2020 on my E:\ drive why is the Community folder still on the C:\ drive? I understand all addons go into the Community folder but I am running low on space on the C:\ drive. Was wondering anyway to move\change the location of the Community folder? MSI Codex 5 10SC-262UK Desktop PC - Intel Core i7-10700, RTX 2060 Graphics, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 256GB SSD.
September 24, 20205 yr It appears to me that MS uses only the C drive (Privilege issues?). When you install somewhere else, symbolic links are created by MS from the C drive to where you installed it. If you check disk space, you will see it installed on your E drive but MS created a mirror folder structure on the C drive with no data. I have no idea why other than to lock you out of their folders.
