FPS with cached scenery

Recommended Posts

Guest TPN_Turnip

When I cache scenery for Las Vegas ( Example ) and fly, I notice less stutters and a FPS increase. Not much but smoother flight. If I increase my 1 GB RAM to 2 and cache the scenry, would that not give me MORE FPS?System Specs:P4 3.0SB LiveATI Radeon X800 GTO (256)1 Gig DDR RAM

What do you mean "cache the scenery"???If you mean that scenery that is loaded into memory renders faster than scenery that is not loaded in, then sure that has always been faster fps in every version of FS I've seen.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2.5 ghz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (94.47), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian
