September 30, 20205 yr To practice an approach at a given airport, simply pick that airport as your "arrival"...do not pick a "departure".... the Sim will place you on approach to the chosen airport and runway...you have no control over the length of the approach or the altitude...I think it varies by plane...still, it's a neat and useful feature...I read about this on another forum...
