GB it worked!...thank God... Cianpairs...here is what i did...first, I uninstalled Xbox... then I started the Task Mgr. and searched (box at top) for "gaming", found two results and stopped both services... then I rebooted...then I installed Xbox by searching it in the search box...this led to a small box that indicated that my Xbox was "out of date," and I installed the new version and started 2024 and it worked!...hope this helps...

I did some clean-up on my computer, careful not to do not to disturb 2024...well, 2024 will not load now, giving me a white box directing me to the Xbox App for help...there the only thing to do was to instaall 2024 under Xbox...did not do that...my original 2024 was store bought... up to that point in time 2024 was working perfectly... any help appreciated...

I bought it from Got Friends under 2020... I migrated it to 2024 by just adding it to my Community file for 2024... all worked well for awhile...

Will 2024 remake "content.xml" upon startup if accidentally deleted?...

Won't the sim reconstitute/remake the "content.xml" if it deleted? "MWE" what I do if the file is "not active?"...

I had this aircraft since 2020...and I migrated it over to 2024...suddenly about a month ago, I could not find it in my aircraft...it had been in my 2024 Community file...a couple of days ago I noticed that MS was selling it in the 2024 marketplace ...it was also for rent...curious, I rented it and it worked... I really like the plane...now I am faced with having to pay 2x for it...my community folder for 2024 still has it installed but it doesn't work...does anyone know what's going on?...

I am using the correct folder for Liveries in my Community folder...everything works perfectly in my Community folder with the AddonLinker....and I look for the livery as a tab under the Configure tab....which has tabs for Variant and Weing & Payload as well....

Hi Ryan...I bought the Duke from JustFlight....many updates since then...I have put extracted livery file in just as you have described...one combined file, not three separate as you warned against...still, I have no good result...

Every time I d/l a new livery for a 2024 plane it never works...does not show up under liveries... what am I doing wrong?....

Will check the fuel...I will check the Tablet for failures... I have assigned the parking brake for each of my 100+ planes...be hard to check...

Beagle12...I think I figured out what you mean... I tried to start a flight over water... everything looked good../then the engines wound down, just like they do when i try to start on a runway...darn....

My Sim is not in active pause...there is not a double assignment for the parking brake...it is off... Beagle12...I'm not sure I understand "...starting up on the runway (bypassing the startup)"...please explain... Thanks once again to all who commented...really appreciated...

If you all mean the EFB, there is no such tab or setting...if you mean the Tablet by the left hand side of the pilot's seat, then I continue to check it and keep engines serviced and the batteries charged...

First, thanks to all who responded... I have tried pushing my throttle up a little and re-starting...no luck...I am not using a Beta version of the sim...I am starting on a runway...I do check that the engines are serviced and the batteries are a full 100%..I believe that I am using the 2024 version of the plane... all god thoughts...does anyone have any other suggestions?...

I start my Duke according to check lists...the wheels do not have chocks... I can get the Duke to fire up and accelerate to full speed...I release the parking brake but nothing happens...it just sits there...what am I doing wrong?....help please...

It hangs at about 16-18% and then it locks...I have tried deleting all my community folders and disabling/turning off my security suite... no luck...any help appreciated...
