Sunday at 05:27 PM2 days I have both 2020 and 2024...I am happy with 2024...I have no real use for 2020 (unless someone can suggest one)...should I remove 2020?...is their any thing am giving up?...what is the best way to remove?...
Sunday at 05:38 PM2 days 2024 is an upgrade in every way. Do it.Uninstalling 2020 should remove everything itself.

Sunday at 06:32 PM2 days What Bert said. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
Sunday at 08:08 PM2 days I had a hundred or so planes and sceneries in 2020. When I removed 2020, I lost nothing, not a single one. Don't erase your community folder and you won't lose any assets not purchased in the marketplace. Meanwhile all the ones purchased in the 2020 marketplace are recognized by 2024. Some few of these will have issues in 2024. So if there are any of these that cause you to still fly 2020, then keep 2020. But if you no longer fly 2020, I would ditch it and free up a ton of space. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
Sunday at 08:28 PM2 days You only lose assets that are permanently disabled like the 2020 Zinertek stuff with an auto upgrade to 2024.dd
Sunday at 10:51 PM1 day I have both installed still, and still fky frequently in 2020. I myself think 2024 is not quite polished yet.Its getting there thou.Mike

Yesterday at 07:04 AM1 day I still have MSFS2020 installed. Not for flying, but to set up my 3 screens. In MSFS2020 you can set up multi views while seeing the scenery on all 3 screens from within the cockpit, while MSFS2024 puts you in a drone mode and you cannot see how it looks before reloading an going back into the cockpit. The values I use in MSFS2020 I then use in MSFS2024. It is really incredible that Asobo still has not fixed that, as they know this. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
