November 18, 2025Nov 18 I start my Duke according to check lists...the wheels do not have chocks... I can get the Duke to fire up and accelerate to full speed...I release the parking brake but nothing happens...it just sits there...what am I doing wrong?....help please...

November 19, 2025Nov 19 Is this SU4 Beta, by chance? A lot of planes are having issues here/there in the most recent beta. However, if not and this is SU3 2024 or 2020, make sure you have the right version installed. Last time I checked, there is a 2020 and 2024 version. If all of the above checks out, then just reinstall and start from cold/dark again. November 19, 2025Nov 19 Check from EFB that engine is ok. I have this problem every time as I start to flight with TBM 850 (MSFS 2024 latest beta) - repair engine and fly. Very odd thing but this is what it is - beta...
November 19, 2025Nov 19 Author First, thanks to all who responded... I have tried pushing my throttle up a little and re-starting...no luck...I am not using a Beta version of the sim...I am starting on a runway...I do check that the engines are serviced and the batteries are a full 100%..I believe that I am using the 2024 version of the plane... all god thoughts...does anyone have any other suggestions?...
November 19, 2025Nov 19 In my first ever flight in the Turbine Duke, I set everything up as per checklist, performed a healthy, cool start and once on the runway, pushed the throttles forward and got nothing - barely registering on the Torque gauge. After some head scratching, I went into the EFB > failures page and hit the "Repair Aircraft" button (not it's exact name - I'm not in the sim right now). As soon as I did that, I pushed the throttles forward and we were away! On all subsequent flights with the T-Duke it's been fine. So I had some sort of failure on that first flight, that was preventing the PT6s from spooling up. TL:DR - hit the reset failures function in the EFB and try again to apply power. November 19, 2025Nov 19 Author If you all mean the EFB, there is no such tab or setting...if you mean the Tablet by the left hand side of the pilot's seat, then I continue to check it and keep engines serviced and the batteries charged...

November 20, 2025Nov 20 Author My Sim is not in active pause...there is not a double assignment for the parking brake...it is off... Beagle12...I'm not sure I understand "...starting up on the runway (bypassing the startup)"...please explain... Thanks once again to all who commented...really appreciated...
